Thanks to TV/media, and amongst other things, a new app from NBC, over 2.5 billion people – more than one third of the world’s population – are expected to watch Prince William marry Kate Middleton on Friday.  To give you some perspective, approximately 750 million viewers watched when Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer some 30 years earier.  At the time, it was the most-watched live event in television history.

In the US, iPhone’s are only available on Verizon and AT&T, so it’s unclear why the device is being tested on the T-Mobile network.

You can take a screenshot of whatever is on your iPad 2 / iPhone 4 by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button (top right) while quickly pressing and releasing the Home button (bottom center).  The screenshot will appear among your Photos.  This function is awesome if you receive a really funny text that you want to pass along (in all it’s glory) to your friends.

Now your iPhone can accept Amex, or other credit cards, with Square!

The iPhone is now credit card compatible.  A company by the name of Square has designed a credit card reader that plugs into the headphone jack, enabling you to accept credit cards and debit cards on the fly.  Square then transfers daily deposit to your bank account.
