Foursquare is our favorite socializing app. We think it’s the best because it turns city exploration and your current location into a socializing experience!

Now you might come back at me with another question: “Why in the world would I want people to know where I am at all times?!”

Now to be fair, that is an excellent question and was my first reaction too, the first time I heard of foursquare. But this is exactly why I thought it was important to do a write-up on the quickly growing company:

Money and SunTzu?  I just finished reading an interesting article titled; “The Evolution of Generosity” at The Economist, but I feel like the post left much to be wanted. So I was hoping you SheBytes readers would be able to help me out, by commenting below and giving me your feedback.

The article basically tries to prove that “The human impulse to be kind to unknown individuals is not the biological aberration it might seem”, but I feel like it failed to display this for a few reasons.

I’m not exactly sure what more needs to be said after you’ve watched this video from the team at Xion, except that the material used in the pads reminds me a lot of the 1997, Robin Williams film, Flubber.

As data becomes increasingly digital, are Business Cards becoming obsolete?  With the entire hullabaloo (and yes, I’ve been anxiously waiting to use that word on SheBytes for months now!), about the digitization of the business card, and the possibility of About.me making the traditional business card obsolete, I found it an apt opportunity to lend some of my input.

Whether the business card will actually no longer be relevant, in the future is impossible to say, but I am certain that business cards are still integral in the professional community today.

Although I sincerely enjoy writing and blogging, I also recognize that other mediums of communication; like pictures and videos, are (sometimes), undoubtedly superior.

IO2 Technology developed a hologram-like product which, is already for sale, (albeit at a minimum of 39K!!).

The relatively new company Klout, did a really awesome post on their site blog about iPhone and Android.

If you haven’t heard of Klout, Renee did a great post on them titled: “Have You Got Klout? Track Your Self-Brand”. But for our lazier readers; “Klout is a social media scorecard.  The site assigns individuals a personal “Klout Score”, ranging from 1 to a 100, which is a measure “of your overall online influence”.

Our DJing best app pick is called: djay, an app designed to turn your portable music player into a full-fledged, music mayhem, disc jockeying machine!
