Rushing to pull your iPad 2 or iPhone 4 out of your pocket to answer a call?  There’s a way to quickly answer!

If you’ve ever been in a rush and not in the mood to deal with the hassle of taking the device out of your pocket or bag to answer a call, there’s a really cool way to help you field all of those incoming calls:

If you want to answer, all you have to do is tap the “Sleep/Wake” button on the top of your device and the call will be picked up. If you’re not in the mood to speak to ________ (insert annoying acquaintance’s name here), simply double tap the “Sleep/Wake” button and your “friend” will be sent to voice mail.

If you use the headphones that came with your device, you can use the same tapping pattern on the tiny white “Clicker/Microphone” portion of your headphone cord to do the exact same thing!
