Best 30 Apps For…Sports: ESPN

What’s the best app to stay on top of your favorite sports teams; all the time?  It’s ESPN!

For those of you who don’t know (which is probably a lot of you), ESPN actually stands for “Entertainment and Sports Programming Network” (who knew?). Even if you did know (show off), they developed the perfect app to keep you in the know.

ESPN ScoreCenter is free and can be downloaded here.

We love ScoreCenter for a couple of different reasons. The first is the sheer variety of sports that the app offers minute by minute news on. You can follow your favorite teams in:

  • NFL Football
  • NBA Basketball
  • NCAA Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Baseball, Lacrosse, Water polo
  • Premier League
  • UEFA Champions League
  • NHL Ice Hockey

  • Rugby

They offer so many sports, it reminds me of the character in the movie Dodgeball, who finds out about the tournament because he reads the fictional OSQ (Obscure Sports Quarterly).

Either way, ESPN ScoreCenter is sure to be a keeper app because you can even “favorite” your favorite teams as a way to just get a news feed on them. Additionally, ScoreCenter is sure to save you from some tough and boring weddings 😉
