Levo league, a new wave of women, takes on on the challenge of equal pay.

On April 17th, President Obama proclaimed — National Equal Pay Day, calling Americans to recognize the full value of women’s skills, their contribution to the work force, acknowledge the injustice of wage discrimination, and join efforts to achieve equal pay.

Make some noise generation Y ladies! National Equal Pay Day has defiantly broken the glass ceiling, right? Well, not exactly.

Sad to say, not all companies have taken recognition to the ‘end of inequality.’ Levo League aims to change that.

I spent some time at Verizon this morning helping a client port her number from a T-Mobile Android to a Verizon iPhone. The real fun began when we couldn’t transfer 2,400 contacts off the Droid’s SIM card. Needless to say, I wish we had the ConXfer App!

ConXfer is a patent pending wireless, mobile to mobile secure contacts transfer application. It simplifies the process of securely transferring a user’s contact and mobile business cards from one device to another using WiFi or Bluetooth.

It seems that everywhere I look, there is a widening disparity between male and female entrepreneurs, most notably in the tech sector.

Whether this difference comes down to what toys we grow up playing with, or just the ways in which men and women approach technology, I am always struck when I see something which exhibits that in fact the gender gap is closing.

I recently read an article, on NYDailyNews titled “Golden Ladies of NYC”, which totally inspired me!

SheBytes has done countless articles on crucial female topics such as gender inequality in the workplace, women and technology, where are the superwomen and embracing femininity.

It seems that despite the clear inequality that still exists between males and females in the workplace, very little has been done by companies which has been effective in remedying this issue.
