In much the same way that a seed all-inclusively contains the DNA of a tree (its branches, leaves and fruit), each of our intentions contain a ‘fruit,’ or end result as well.

Alternatively, no matter how sophisticated the DNA of a seed, if the environment that seed is planted in does not have a healthy ‘soil,’ there is no way for the seed to bear healthy fruit.

Intention is equally as important as environment.

Sephora single-point-of-sale done wirelessly, using an iPhone.

My Anastasia Brow products (fav!) needed a refresh, so I took a power-walk up to the Sephora store on 57th and Lexington today. I did a little shopping and one of the sales reps came over asking if I needed any help.  I let her know I was okay (I know my way around a Sephora store!), so she asked if I was by chance ready to check out –I was.  Expecting she would ask me to walk over to the register, I was surprised when she pulled out her iPhone to check me out!

Technology has grown to become deeply entrenched in our daily lives; increasingly more so over the last 20 years. The result is children as young as tots proficient with iPads and smartphones, with respective Facebook pages to boot. While it may be cute, it’s not always fun and games. With technology changing so rapidly, parents are struggling to keep up with the latest platforms, and more importantly, the shifting rules of data sharing and online etiquette.

Choosing between a Mac and a PC is no easy task.  There are many things to consider: ergonomics, functionality, and operating system just to name a few.  But I’ll get to that in a moment.
