Is there a technology of love? What is love?

Simply put, I feel love is the way we share and receive with the people we care most deeply about. Interestingly, technology too deals with the way we share and receive (information specifically) amongst people.  So has technology changed our expression of love?  Is there a technology of love? Who needs cable and wires anyway? Thankfully, the days of  unsightly cables and wires are a thing of the past. Wireless technology isn’t just reserved for the Internet and telecommunications (wireless electricity too!). Today, the best modern technologies are ‘going wireless.’ Everything from bluetooth surround sound speaker systems to wireless printers that run on your home or office wireless network.

I spent some time at Verizon this morning helping a client port her number from a T-Mobile Android to a Verizon iPhone. The real fun began when we couldn’t transfer 2,400 contacts off the Droid’s SIM card. Needless to say, I wish we had the ConXfer App!

ConXfer is a patent pending wireless, mobile to mobile secure contacts transfer application. It simplifies the process of securely transferring a user’s contact and mobile business cards from one device to another using WiFi or Bluetooth.

Are social media and an online marketing strategy a good investment of time and money?

It should come as no surprise that the proliferation of social media has turned social networking into an important business tool. And with each year that passes, more and more social networking sites have cropped up, each with unique opportunities to market a business or product. The problem is: you only need to master them.  No big deal, right? (I’m kidding).

Is it possible these days to grow an online business without an online marketing strategy –including all the liking, blogging, sharing and tweeting?  After all, it’s time consuming!

If we were to rank the Cloud Computing acronyms (SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and IaaS) in terms of people’s familiarity with them, Infrastructure-as-a-Service would probably come up dead last.
