“Concern for man and his fate must always form the chief interest of all technical endeavors. Never forget this in the midst of your diagrams and equations.” –Albert Einstein
I watched part of the movie I.Q. yesterday, the 1994 Romantic Comedy about how “Albert Einstein helps a young man” (Tim Robbins), “who’s in love with Einstein’s niece” (Meg Ryan), “catch her attention by pretending…to be a great physicist.” The quote above displays Einstein’s understanding of the technological need to remain human.
This really got me thinking about Einstein’s genius.
To me, the most marvelous part of Einstein’s mind is that despite its utter loftiness in terms of mental capacity, he was able to relate to every man and woman on a moral system both deep and ubiquitous.
