I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished I could “call” my keys to find them, just like I do when I misplace my cell phone. Now, that’s actually a possibility (sort of). With Stick-N-Find Bluetooth stickers, you can track and find just about any item using your cell phone.

Stick-N-Find is about the size of a quarter, so you can stick it on almost anything, not just your key chain. You can set it to buzz or flash a light, and you can also have the complimentary phone app alert you when your sticker goes out of range. Here are a few uses for this handy little gadget:

• Stick one on your pet’s collar to get an alert when your furry friend roams too far
• Attach one to luggage so you can easily find it at the airport
• Use the stickers to find the remote control and other commonly lost household items
• Stick one on a child’s shoe when you’re at the park to be alerted of wandering
• If you live in a high-crime area, stick one on your car for an alert if it goes out of range when it’s supposed to be securely parked outside

Worried about the creepy guy at work dropping a Stick-N-Find in your purse? Don’t be. The stickers only work in a 100-foot range, and they don’t actually tell you where an object is, only how far you are from it. So, to use the app on your phone, you have to pick a direction and start walking to see if you get closer or farther away. It’s like playing hot/cold.

Stick-N-Find is pretty convenient because it runs on a standard watch battery that lasts over a year and works with any iOS device that supports Bluetooth 4.0 or any Android device that supports Bluetooth Low Energy. The glue sticks to glass, metal, plastic, leather, and many other surfaces, and you can use several at once to track different items.

I find these stickers to be a little on the pricey side at $49.99 for a set of two, but you do have a wide variety of colors from which to choose: black, white, pink, red, blue, and clear. And, if you want something with more range, the company is also working on any actual GPS tracker called BluTracker which has a range of 0.5 miles and comes with a rechargeable battery. You can pre-order that today for $69.99.

Stick-N-Find may be a little pricy, but there’s certainly a market for it. The company got started by raising nearly $932,000 on Indiegogo in January, after seeking to raise just $70,000.
